Job Summary:

The Business Liaison & Strategic Initiatives Manager will serve as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor on all line of business sales and service strategic initiatives. This role will act as the primary liaison between supporting business units to successfully implement projects and programs to the customer facing employees. The incumbent also provides leadership, advice and guidance on sales and service processes and other activities aimed to transform the business.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary liaison between line of business executive vision and identified support/execution groups for all communications, planning, and execution of key initiatives.

  • Responsible for articulating business vision to key support partners in order to drive revenue and/or cost reduction.

  • Manage a team of individuals that drive, deliver, and execute on all key activities and strategic needs of the business.

  • Define, create, and execute additional value through business led campaigns and initiatives to successfully achieve business revenue goals.

  • Provide thought leadership to cross functional teams on recommendations for execution of business priorities.

  • Successfully evangelize the banks’ transformation and agile focus through the creative ideation of new approaches to solving business and customer problems.

  • Partner with business teams (product, marketing, sales, technology) to drive improved performance and quality in revenue, customer acquisition, customer segmentation, retention & loyalty, and employee engagement etc. in support of the business line short- and long-term financial goals.

  • Create influential presentations and communications using analytics.

  • Play an integral role in the line of business strategic direction, development, and business roadmaps for executing future financial growth.

  • Serve as proxy for line of business executive in assigned segment.



  • 8 years banking experience

  • BA or BS undergraduate degree or US-equivalent

  • Masters’ degree or MBA preferred

  • Significant program management experience

  • Ability to liaise and report out across the organization to very senior levels

  • Ability to tell stories with data

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks appropriately

  • Ability to manage confidential information appropriately and professionally

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience is a must

  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects and programs successfully to executions.
