Job Summary:
This position is responsible for daily Lock Desk and Capital Markets operations activities. Responsibilities include but not limited to addressing pricing exception requests, lock extensions, data updates in various systems, enforcing lock policy, as well as Capital Markets support such as loan/trade allocations, trade entry and settlement in QRM.
Major Responsibilities:
Prioritize and execute on Lock Desk and Capital Markets activities in scope of responsibility in a timely manner
Assist in entering and verifying Index data into various systems
Maintain Lock Desk SLA and ensure customer service not to be deteriorated
Develop project plans to ensure on-time project completion as well as tracking mechanisms and reporting to measure success
Confirm the design of the system. Review and update functional requirements document for development item
Create accurate and well-designed configurations for full utilization of all system functionalities
Understand the Bank’s standard procedure and ensure new procedures are compliant with the standard procedure
Testing - Deliver, Coordinate, Monitor, identify testing plan to test both system functions and newly designed procedures
Ensure the on-time completion and readiness for testing and/or go-live
Deliver business requirements including improved future state requirements which resolve existing pain points
Design new risk resistant and efficient operation procedure along with new system
Perform other related tasks as required and assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Mortgage product, business, and industry knowledge preferably in Secondary and Capital Markets
2 years of progressive experience with a proven track record in the above-mentioned job responsibilities
Experience working in loan origination systems and product and pricing engines
Attention to detail, accurate, and able to multi-task to successfully manage multiple tasks with concurrent deadlines
Excel, SQL, VBA, or other programming languages are preferred
