Job Summary:

Be at the forefront of shaping the Bank's commercial card program from the initial establishment of the commercial card platform through roll out to our client base. This position is responsible for project management and execution of commercial card project management within Global Treasury Management.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates activities across multiple teams including Product Management, Information Technology, eCommerce and Operations to deliver assigned initiatives on time and on budget. Tracks deliverables, establishes timelines, manages budgets, escalates issues and manages project financials.

  • The initial area of focus will be Commercial Credit Cards, and will involve the coordination of multiple project and program work streams to successfully deliver the end product.

  • Will generally support initiatives relating to Global Payments, Information delivery and liquidity management and investing products.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provides leadership and guidance throughout the entire initiative management process.

  • Develops project plans and contingencies for significant projects with the Global Treasury Management organization.

  • Ensures project activities are coordinated across various areas of the Bank including Technology, Compliance, Finance and other disciplines.

  • Supports creation of business cases and plans, and is responsible for keeping key project management tracking systems up to date.

  • Establishes and tracks progression of project plans.

  • Understands systems used to track financial performance and ensures accuracy of the overall project financial plan.

  • Develops statements of work with internal and third party technology providers.

  • Develops, implements and manages all projects throughout the project life cycle including requirements definition, design, development, testing and pilot phases.

  • Develops and delivers management and project-related presentations as needed.

  • Provides feedback for process improvement, lessons learned, program enhancements, and strategic alignment with business or other programs.

  • Actively ensure compliance with the Bank's Business Standards of Conduct and all Patriot Act, CIP, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, and other regulatory and compliance policies and procedures.

  • Actively participate in any required corporate and business line Compliance Training.

  • Follow account opening procedures and understand and follow internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes, as required for this position.

  • Actively work with customers to understand each customer's normal account activity, as appropriate for this position.

Qualifications

Additional Information:

  • Minimum 5- 10 years of relevant work experience, particularly in Project Management, or equivalent experience in Product Management, Operations or Technology roles.

  • Knowledge of commercial card programs a plus.

  • Effective interpersonal skills when working with all interfacing departments and stakeholders.

  • Working knowledge of commercial card programs, bank operations and services, bank regulations, financial reporting systems and project tracking systems and processes.

  • A background in project management in a financial services environment would be beneficial, but not necessary required.

  • College degree strongly preferred.

  • Excellent verbal, written and matrix management skills.

  • Strong reasoning, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills.

  • Computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel as well as project methodology systems such as Clarity; knowledge of cash management products and their uses by large corporations and middle market enterprises is desired.

  • PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt other Project Management certification and is a strong plus.

  • Location is Los Angeles, but must be able to travel nationally as needed.
