We are looking for a dynamic, high energy Marketing Specialist, who will work closely with the Marketing Director, in developing marketing campaigns and seeing it through execution for retail deposit and digital banking products. She/he will collaborate closely with direct marketing, digital marketing, brand, agency and compliance partners in ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget and with an eye for detail and accuracy.
Location: Oakland/Los Angeles/Flexible
You’ll be part of Marketing Strategy team. The team focuses on developing strategy and working with various channel and operational leaders in bringing a marketing campaign to life. This role will support Retail Deposits (Checking, Savings, Money Market, CD, and Overdraft Products) and Digital Banking (Online banking, Mobile banking, Web Bill Pay, eStatements, Digital Wallet, etc.).
About the Role:
The Deposits and Digital Banking Marketing Specialist will:
Support Marketing Director in developing and deploying high-impact marketing campaigns and assist in developing collateral for direct mail, email, landing pages, search, social, video and more.
Shepherd the creative through its development process by soliciting and implementing feedback from lines of business, channel, Compliance and brand partners. Work closely with channel leaders and agency in ensuring creative is developed in a timely fashion.
Continually test creative formats, channels, targeting, offers to drive towards business and marketing goals; Use data-driven insights to inform campaigns.
Ensure adherence to all bank compliance requirements, policies and procedures. Regularly interact with Marketing Shared Services, Legal and Compliance departments to manage the approval process for all marketing collaterals.
Work closely with analytics team in analyzing performance of campaigns and contribute insightful analysis to improve performance of campaigns.
Maintain campaign calendar via collaboration with the marketing director and line of business partners.
Develop and adapt creative for a variety of channels – email, direct mail, social, search, display, video and more.
Manage expectations, timely delivery of creative updates, and all internal communications related to campaigns. Maintain budget and track invoices.
Stay abreast of current marketing trends, consumer preferences and marketing best practices.
The Skills You Bring:
Undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing or related field preferred
Minimum 4 years of marketing and/or related communications experience
Exceptional attention to details with strong project management and organizational skills is a must. Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines and priorities
Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills including ability to interact with Senior Leaders
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
An Ideal Candidate would also have :
Marketing agency / Financial services experience preferred
An eye for design and ability to direct agencies/graphic designers to create compelling marketing assets. Strong desire to test and learn
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; Strong editing and proofreading skills
