We're seeking a Sr. Network Security Engineer position to be responsible for designing and supporting network access programs. You will develop and implement security standards, procedures, and guidelines with a focus on web and remote access. In addition, you will perform identification, analysis, and reporting of security programs and monitor for continual improvements. Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain web and remote access security policies and standards. - Design and implement a range of information security metrics and performance reports. - Understand the patterns and metrics to manage security risks. - Research and prototype emerging technologies and techniques to improve security programs.
The right candidate will have: - 5 years experience in information technology with an emphasis on information security. - 3 years experience developing and supporting web proxy - Financial services experience in a Top 10 Banking environment - Knowledge with networking, network segmentation, and network access. - Ability to understand and determine security risks and apply appropriate controls - Experience with third-party network security products such as Symantec, Zscalar, Cisco, McAfee, Checkpoint, Juniper, PulseSecure, and Aruba - Knowledge of remote access, wireless access, cloud security, and Data Lost Prevention (DLP) security solutions - Experience with SEIM solutions such as Splunk - Lean Six sigma, CISSP, CCNP, GCIA certifications preferred
