Job Summary:

Provide financial support and analysis for Wealth Management business lines to enable revenue and profitability growth. Responsibilities include budgeting and forecasting for various segments of the business, preparing analytical reports for business leaders, and performing financial modeling to support strategic decisions. This role will serve as primary finance partner contact for the Investment Management & Trust business within Wealth Management.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Monthly budgeting and forecasting to support Wealth Management business lines, including establishing financial assumptions and critical decision variables.

  • Monthly reporting and reconciliation of fee income and expense – includes financial maintenance responsibilities such as actuals & forecast variance analysis, accrual management, and driver analysis.

  • Appropriations management and expense tracking for Wealth Management strategic projects and initiatives.

  • Manages accounting/finance data through ad hoc and management reporting.

  • Preparation of executive level reporting/presentations, including monthly/quarterly business reviews and strategic proposals.

  • Develops and maintains strategic models that consider equity market and interest rate projections to size future growth and opportunities.

  • Identifies trends and developments in Wealth Management and Investment Management & Trust that may impact future business performance and profitability.

  • Acts as liaison to business unit and technology personnel to enhance reporting capabilities.



  • Requires a degree from a four-year college (e.g., B.A., B.S.) and 1 to 3 years of technical experience as a Financial Analyst or equivalent, comparable experience.

  • One or more of the following designations is strongly preferred: MBA, CFA, CPA or similar professional designation in Financial Management, or MS in Math and/or Accounting.

  • Requires the ability to develop and design complex spreadsheets, databases, or report formats (based on a business need) to be used by other people.

  • Requires the ability to communicate comfortably and concisely with Executive Management, ability to work under time pressure and handle multiple projects at a time, ability to communicate, influence, negotiate and persuade team members at all levels.

  • Requires good time management skills and ability to work independently.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Visio), Business Objects, Hyperion and ThinkCell tools.
