Provide comprehensive and complex financial analyses to support the major initiatives for the Regional Bank. Responsible for day-to-day finance support of Unsecured Consumer Lending initiatives, working closely with program executives, project management, and partners in marketing, operations, servicing, and digital channels. Develop reporting for new businesses, produce financial statements, and provide insights into business risks and opportunities. Conduct and direct highly technical accounting-based research and analysis projects. Create presentations and recommendations to management that will help drive business strategy.
Conduct and direct complex financial studies such as loan return analysis, cost-benefit analysis, detailed financial plans, interest rate analysis, operating forecasts, peer group comparisons, or determining the financial impact of various decisions / external inputs.
Provide written analysis and interpretation of results.
Develop and run complex financial models to produce projections, simulate scenarios, and obtain comparative financial data.
Create reporting routines for new business, helping provide insight into key trends and performance indicators.
Develop strong working relationship with business partners to provide adequate finance support and drive strategic decisions.
A degree from a four-year college (e.g., B.A., B.S.) preferred, though not required.
At least 4 years of technical experience as a Financial Analyst or equivalent, comparable experience.
Familiar with loan portfolios desirable.
Requires the ability to develop and design complex spreadsheets, databases, or report formats (based on a business need) to be used by other people.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required, Microsoft Access experience helpful.
May be required to provide work direction for other analysts.
