About the role:

In your role as Front Support Officer, you will play an important role in building and maintaining strong relationship with our corporate customers. The role is given a portfolio of customers and be responsible to answer inquiries from customers and facilitate services together with relevant departments. Mainly, the officer will be in charge of providing banking services in the area of account maintenance, change of signatories, change of customer details, quoting deposit and loan interest rates, bank account inquiries, supporting customers in filling forms and collecting required documents.

You will also be involved in issuances of bank guarantees, loan drawdowns, payment and receipt of funds for domestic and international transactions.

Importantly, the Officer will support relationship managers by identifying revenue opportunities through communication with customers and bring the opportunities to the service deliveries.

Your role extends to administrative duties of the department such as maintaining and ordering stationaries and amenities, assisting member’s business trip, business entertainment, customer meetings and visitors access to the office and the expense claims.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working with relationship managers, the role is expected to be supporting maximizing deal outcome from customer service perspective

  • Respond to various inquiries related banking transactions, such as change of address, change of signatories, account balance, remittance for domestic and overseas transactions, deposit rate quotes, loan interest rate quotes

  • Supporting KYC related work by involving in customer inquiries on periodical KYC review

  • Supporting customers in relation to bank guarantee issuance, loan drawdown, setting up term deposits, and preparations of various documents required for banking transactions

  • Working closely with eBanking team to facilitate online services and inquiries

  • Supporting credit risk team by receiving financial documents and arranging signatures for deal execution

  • Working as a member of Front Support team, provide support to other members to bring the results out of a team strength

  • Working together with relationship managers, sharing information to provide revenue opportunities and bring the opportunities to deal execution and service deliveries

What we are looking for:

  • 2+ years experience in banking transaction and services

  • Undergraduate qualification in accounting, banking or finance subjects,

  • Business communication in both English and Japanese

  • Customer service experience in corporate banking

  • Strong numerical skills and attention to details are must.

  • Good communication skills and business manners to provide professional and quality service

  • MS office experience with key capabilities in Excel, Word and Powerpoint

  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence others
