About the role:

In this role, you’ll provide key administrative support to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and wider Risk Management team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • General administrative duties on behalf of the CRO and Risk Management Team including diary management, arranging travel, filing and archiving

  • Preparation of documents including reports, memoranda, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations

  • Preparation of Risk Management Committee agendas and minutes

  • Support the preparation of risk related training (on-line and in person), including tracking and reporting of completion rates

  • Assist with promoting awareness and training of risk and regulatory issues with relevant stakeholders

  • Assist with the day-to-day delivery of all Risk Management activities of the Bank

  • Provision of Risk Management support for information security requirements

What we are looking for:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level team assistant, with a genuine interest and drive to learn about risk management. In addition to supporting the team with administration, we will provide you with the knowledge and training to get involved across a broad range of risk management activities.

You’ll have previous experience in a similar role, outstanding administration skills including diary management and the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Exposure to risk management practices and/or APRA regulations is highly desirable, but not essential.

You will be highly organised, able to multitask and work autonomously and proactively. Strong attention to detail, accuracy and time management skills are essential, as well as a personable and professional manner at all times.
