The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Job Summary:

In this role you will support the complete IT asset lifecycle of hardware (end user, data center and network) and software (end user, server & database), including planning, obtaining, tracking, and disposing of physical assets. Maintain a single source of truth for inventory of all assets.

Responsibilities include overseeing software-license entitlement and physical inventory management; provisioning assets for employee onboarding and off-boarding; receiving, scanning, deploying of hardware assets and updating asset records in asset database; follow-up and management of asset research and management; and resolving exceptions and escalations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory and lifecycle of hardware and software assets (including dependencies), to ensure that modifications, withdrawals, and additions are correctly recorded by teams to ensure compliance with vendor contracts

  • Apply a continuous improvement approach in enhancing the strategies employed in technology spending, as well as in tracking company assets within the CMDB throughout their lifecycle

  • Provide scheduled key performance indicator (KPI)/metric information and standardized reporting, including compliance on current assets and trend analyses

  • Establish and maintain documentation of procedures, processes, and reports concerning asset and configuration management

  • Take part in other IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, or as required, perform as a back up to maintain operational activities

  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to determine trends in asset performance and maintain best practices

Qualifications:

  • 5-6 years' experience working in IT asset management. Including minimum 3+ years' experience in hardware IT asset management and asset management software (ServiceNow, Flexera).

  • "Experience in a large organization with a remote workforce, preferred

  • "Strong knowledge of IT software and hardware methodologies, processes and procedures.

  • Experience working in ServiceNow including CMDB, reporting and ServiceNow's HAMPro and SAMPro modules.

  • Develop, maintain & continuously improve IT asset management processes and practices to ensure inventory accuracy, reduce inefficiencies and mitigate risks.

  • Work closely with end-point engineering, technical support, data center support, project & business teams.

  • Drive savings through better inventory accuracy, software license management and process improvements.

  • Familiarity with common IT asset management cost savings and risk mitigation strategies

  • One or more of the following certifications a plus: IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT), or IT Asset Management

  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) a plus."

  • 2+ years' experience working in highly regulated industries (i.e., banking or financial services), preferred"

  • "Experience working with a configuration management database (CMDB) and the specific business services that it supports

  • Proven ability and experience in executing strategic IT asset management processes successfully.

  • Experience with ServiceNow and ServiceNow HAMPro and SAMPro modules."

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, IT, Business Management or related field or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience

The typical base pay range for this role is between $107K - $134K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
