The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

We are looking for a Capital Markets AVP to support the GMDA Trading Desks. You will support the front offices which includes performing operations required for accurate processing of securities (Certificate of Deposits, Commercial Paper & Securities Buy/Sell/Repo/Collateral transactions) and settlement of same. Reviewing daily G/L reconciliation and resolving any related issues. Be able to multi-task and meet industry deadlines and assist when necessary for trade settlements.

Responsibilities:

  • As AVP, review and oversee the daily securities operation to ensure all processes have been complete and all trades have settled according to the related deadlines.

  • Resolve any issues related to settlement of transaction, inquiries, and G/L reconciliations.

  • Complete internal and external Audits as requested.

  • Work with systems teams on FICC and Genesis securities projects.

  • Oversee the daily process of securities trades: confirm, verify, and prepare security transactions (purchases, sales, repo, collateral) and process in the corresponding custody or clearing systems for settlement.

  • Prepare offsetting journal entries for settlement.

  • Ensure the allocation of securities for GCF repo transactions is processed timely.

  • Confirm, verify, and process Certificates of Deposit and Commercial Paper transactions from OVS to the USBank IPA system before cutoff and monitor settlement.

  • Ensure all transactional documents are complete and properly saved in the shared folders.

  • Prepare daily and monthly reports.

  • Ensure daily G/L reconciliation is correct and provide resolutions to any related issues.

  • Ensure Genesis End of Day process has completed successfully.

The right candidate will have:

  • 5-10 years' experience in a related field.

  • Knowledge of securities products and market.

  • Diligence, excellent time management, and organizational skills.

  • Intermediate to advanced technical skills, including Microsoft Excel.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $90K - $110K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
