The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

We're seeking an Analyst to process all payment instructions received from MUFG branches and customers and payment messages received via FEDWIRE, CHIPS, SWIFT, and proprietary interfaces. You will need to maintain familiarity with FED, SWIFT, CHIPS formatting standards OFAC and related AML/BSA regulations.

Responsibilities:

Risk Management Processing

  • Perform the daily review of compliance-related filtering functions for OFAC, JFEL and other sanctions using our HotScan monitoring system.

  • Stay informed on sanctions updates as they apply to our filtering needs.

  • Identify and submit good guys on HOTSCAN false hits.

Payment Processing

  • Open and maintain OFAC/Compliance/Sanctions cases on the IntelliTRACS, based on the level of system access, ensuring that all information is accurately recorded, facilitating management review and approval.

  • Monitor open and pending queues for OFAC/Compliance cases, and process the assigned cases in accordance with established procedures. Ensure cases are thoroughly documented and properly filed, facilitating management review and approval.

  • Maintain a comprehensive filing system for all HotScan transactions, ensuring that all transactions that are referred to the Compliance department contain complete documentation with all related information and correspondence.

Quality Control Reporting

  • Prepare of start of day and end-of-shift reporting, including CLS settlement report, GPP payment volume activities, and HOTSCAN manual review activity.

  • Process FED SERVICE messages using FED ADVANTAGE system.

The right candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years experience in money transfer processing

  • Knowledge of CHIPS, FEDWIRE and Swift rules and how to apply them to payment processing

  • Ability to effectively time manage and prioritize assigned duties.

  • General understanding of compliance matters as they apply to OFAC and BSA/AML, Travel Rule, etc.

  • Training on payments formatting sponsored by CHIPS/FED/SWIFT, etc.

  • High School diploma

The typical base pay range for this role is between $61K - $78K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
