Leading a team of Data Warehouse Business Analysts in the design, development and implementation of data warehouse solutions, and in analyzing business requirements and preparing functional and technical specifications. Leading Data Warehouse business data requirements analysis for various technical projects within the Financial Crimes Division. Defining high level implementation solutions, estimating the solution, defining resource needs and managing the implementation of these solutions. Overseeing the communication and coordination with the Broader Data Warehouse Data Analysts, Modelers, Developers, and the business unit. Performing resource performance and day to day management for human resources activities. Directly supervising the work of 6-12 Application Developers, Contractors depending on project needs.
Qualifications – External
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Any), or a related field or foreign equivalent degree (Employer will accept 3-years of university education and 3-years work experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree).
Experience: 8 years of related Data Warehouse experience in the Banking or Financial Industry performing business and data analysis with either core banking products (loans, deposits, forex and money market) or Capital Markets products (Derivatives, Options & Futures, Securitization and Fixed Income); developing business and functional requirements, detailed design documents and specifications, test plans, business unit process and data flows and utilizing SDLC waterfall and agile methodologies; 2 years of experience must include performing data analysis (data cleansing and identifying quality and control standards) using Informatica IDQ; data transformation with Informatica; data querying with advanced SQL; providing data and reporting solutions for at least two of the following: SWIFT, WIRES (BESS and GPP), P&L, G/L Systems, FRB Reporting, or BASEL II; and 1 year of experience must include performing data controls in analysis of AML, Economic OFAC Sanctions, or KYC.
Other: Occasionally required to work nights & weekends & be on-call during non-business hours for technical support & maintenance purposes or to work with international resources.
