This is a hybrid position. The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office an average of two to three days per week with the remainder worked remotely.

We're seeking a BSA Specialist to independently review and analyze moderate to high-risk individuals and entities to ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the US Patriot Act. You will need to identify emerging risk issues and recommend a course of action on most events, seeking guidance when analysis identifies unusual or uncommon situations. This role handles less complex and risky client situations and raises necessary situations to management to evaluate the potential risk to the Bank.



Analyze customer accounts for risk, identify issues, and validate information from bank systems and against third party resources, recommending the retention or termination of accounts.

- Ensure records and reporting to management is kept current.

Complete alerts or monitoring assignments within CIU timeframes and in accordance with unit quality standards for completion and documentation


Maintain effective working relationships with internal partners to obtain and validate client information.

Support client contact hot-line, answering client inquiries about questionable account activity.

Provide customer service and discuss sensitive regulatory topics, while gathering important information from clients.

Ensure appropriate data integrity on underlying bank systems supporting the BSA/AML process including ESB, OASIS and RCIF.


Department support as assigned. This position is generally assigned one of the following focus areas: EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence), CRT (Client Review Team), AF (Adverse Findings), QA (consistency of BSA/AML compliance), OPS (Admin).

The right candidate will have:

1 - 3 years' experience in BSA risk analysis with related experience in banking, preferably in the financial services industry

Organizational, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills

Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines

Knowledge of Bank systems (ESB, RCIF Rumba Applications, NetQuery, Ammo, Filenet, OASIS) preferred

Knowledge of BSA/AML laws and regulations relative to money laundering and terrorist financing

Professional certification in CAMS is preferred
