This is a hybrid position. The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office an average of two to three days per week with the remainder worked remotely.


In this role you will serve as a bridge between technology teams and the business, and focus on analyzing, documenting, and validating business needs in relation to system functionality. You will learn about the financial industry, the products, the risks and how to comply with the corporate and regulatory agencies. Responsibilities include understanding the business need and translating it into functional system requirements; mapping existing system capabilities to business requirements; understanding current and future state system functionality and how the business leverages technology and key data points to meet its needs, and as needed, support strategy definition, defining goals and requirements for programs and projects, and supporting continuous improvement in technology and processes.


  • Listen to client to understand their needs and priorities

  • Support clients in validating and understanding the analysis

  • Communicate client requirements in functional specifications to the development team

  • Participate in quality control and ensure the integrity of information

  • Participate in the implementation of the solution

  • Document the different solutions implemented (business rules, flow rules, schematics, user documentation, etc.)

  • Train and support clients in the use of the solution


  • College Graduate

  • Experience and understanding of how the financial industry impacts people's lives

  • Previous work experience

  • Experience with word processing and worksheet tools

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible

  • Ability to work independently or within a team for problem resolution

  • Detail-oriented


  • 1-2 years in a Business Analyst HR setting or 3-5 years in a similar role

  • Experience with SQL and other data profiling tools and techniques
