The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.
Role Summary:
Manage events as assigned and support selected project work, own routines and projects as directed by the Head of Corporate Meetings & Events. Provide support to business stakeholders as assigned, along with event registration platform support, and next level data analysis and research for client data.
Main Responsibilities:
Events & Meetings
Works directly with business groups and stakeholders to produce a broad cross section of events – both internal and external.
Manage hotels, venues, vendors, food & beverage, transportation, collateral, staffing, permits, etc. as needed in support of the Lines of Business meetings and events projects.
Synchronize event requests from internal clients, Corporate Events department, as well as individual Lines of Business lead. Build event websites and manage all aspects of events.
Operate with a high degree of fiduciary responsibility.
Partner with relevant areas to ensure Compliance on Brand, Marketing, Privacy, Legal, et al.
Travel is required in support of company and client events, industry conferences and other meetings.
Financial
Prepare and manage event budgets, budget reconciliation, and billing processes working in concert with Finance to ensure spend is managed appropriately and allocations (reclass) are timely.
Track, analyze, and report key metrics for meetings and events. Prepare quarterly statements for LOBs event spend & usage ensure stated vertical budgets align with actual spend.
Administrative
Work with Executive Assistants to ensure MUFG business leaders are well informed about events.
Partner with revenue-generating businesses and the enterprise to integrate events, business processes, and event guidelines in support of greater partnership between all groups.
Support Head of Corporate Meetings & Events, Event Services, and LoB leaders on administrative tasks including, but not limited to, calendaring, invoice processing, credit card statement reconciliation, and administrative duties as necessary.
Expected Experience Required:
Bachelor's Degree.
7 plus years of experience in a corporate or hospitality environment.
Experience with Event management, Event marketing, Strategic Meetings Management, MS Office, etc.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $90K - $115K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
