The Data Analyst Associate Vice President will serve as the Information Aggregation Domain Data Quality Data Steward. In this role you will be collecting and interpreting data, analyzing results, reporting the results back to the relevant members of the business, identifying patterns and trends in data sets, working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs, and defining new data collection and analysis processes
Responsibilities:
Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports
Work with management team to create a prioritized list of needs for each business segment
Identify and recommend new ways to save money by streamlining business processes
Analyze large datasets and use data to create models
Write comprehensive reports
Work with department managers to outline the specific data needs for each business method analysis project
Skills/Qualifications:
A degree in mathematics / computer science / statistics / economics, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in highly distributed complex business and technology environments. Experience in financial institution regulatory space is preferred.
Knowledge of relevant laws, legal codes, government regulations, agency rules, and current industry practices
Experience in data models and reporting packages
Intermediate – Advanced SQL
Bachelor’s Degree required
Preferred:
- Python Scripting, experience with R programming
