Job Summary:

In this role you will apply your technical expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with many stakeholders on a daily basis. Whether balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders or supporting more senior staff on complex projects, you will perform data analysis and apply your experience, judgment, and risk mindset across your responsibilities.

An AVP level software engineer who would assist with design, development and support of the internal MUFG Union Bank Infrastructure Patch Management Tool. This resource to be a full-stack engineer being knowledgeable of Javascript, Node.JS, databases and development practices. In addition to the BAU work for supporting and maintaining the Infrastructure Patch Management Tool, this new individual would serve as a lead for full implementation of various new features and a backup for maintenance of the application.



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.

Qualifications: (Required)

  • Minimum 5-6 years of developing at all levels of the application stack (front end/UI, middle/services and back end/database)

  • Highly experienced JavaScript developer with deep knowledge of the language including newer specifications of EcmaScript

  • Strong experience in build/release management

  • 5 years of programming experience in modern frameworks such as Vue.js, React or Angular

  • 5 years of experience with web technologies: Restful Services, JavaScript

  • 5 years of experience with backend development in Node.js

  • Experienced in building and architecting new solutions from the ground up.
