DQ Issues Management Lead
Job Summary :
CDO Delivery Manager will be responsible for an end-to-end project lifecycle of multiple projects in the office of Chief Data Officer of Americas (OCDO) and will work with in Enterprise Data Quality Group. This role will lead projects that enable the efficient and actionable use of data by developing and implimenting enterprise data projects that align enterprise information assests with business and technology strategy. CDO Delivery Manager will have matrixed reporting and execution responsibility with multiple LOBs for delivering assigned work. This role will lead multiple project teams of Business Analysts & Data Analysts and will be the point of contact for key stakeholders to drive assigned work to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible to provide project statuses in various forums , budget estimates, manage timelines, and proactively manages risks and dependencies for the assigned project(s)
Major Responsibilities :
The CDO Delivery Manager will closely with members of the EDQ management team, sub teams and other organizations with in MUFG
This person will be responsible for an end-to-end delivery of the assigned projects and will be the primary point of escalation for issues.
Will ensure project is adhering to various data policies while keeping the goals of the project intact
Guides project teams through all phases, ensuring processes are followed, required documents are completed, and required tracking systems are kept updated
Drives overall execution regardless of which team is doing the work. Also supports Line of Business stakeholder relationships and acts as their advocate throughout the life of the project.
Collaborates with key partners from the Line of Businesses and other IT Project Managers.
Develops and manages project plans, WBS, RACI and other artifacts required for successful Project execution
Identifies, assigns, tracks, escalates, and resolves issues, risks and any dependencies
Delegates and holds resources accountable for deliverables on time and budget
Ability to schedule and facilitate meetings to review progress status, brainstorm and drives various decisions with the teams and business stakeholders and documents minutes, action items. etc.
Develop and deliver management and project-related presentations as needed
Will be the subject Matter Expertise for the data team
This role will actively ensure compliance with the Bank's Business Standards of Conduct and all Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, and other regulatory and compliance policies and procedures. Actively participate in any required corporate and business line Compliance Training.
The right candidate will have :
4 year Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience
Strong Project Management skills with minimum of 10 years of project management experience,
Background in financial industry with demonstrated knowledge and experience in Data governance, Data Warehouse and Data Integration (preferred)
Strong demonstrated knowledge and work experience to lead atleast 2 complex projects/priorities concurrently independently and successfully from start to end (i.e. covering all Project Life Cycle Phases)
Completion of PMP or other PM certification (preferred) with strong knowledge of change management principles
Self starter with strong interpersonal and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to transform complex concepts into simple and easy to understand presentations and influence decisions to achieve desired results across varied complex stakeholder groups.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks to meet extremely tight deadlines
Strong Microsoft PowerPoint presentation skills and ability to target messaging to different audiences
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, MS Visio and Advanced Excel
