Financial Analyst, Allocations

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Financial Analysis Director, the AVP – OTA Allocations will be part of the team responsible for the OTA Allocations process including the OTA Service Catalog along with financial planning, forecasting and strategic analysis for all OTA Rewire initiatives. This team is responsible to develop a robust planning, allocation and appropriation model to ensure IT financials are understood across the Bank. The team partners with OTA leadership, Finance leadership and the Businesses to ensure cost transparency.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Service Catalog Management

  • Support the OTA service catalog process, which is responsible for the allocation of $1.4B annually in OTA expenses and help mature the processes to support the OTA annual budget process and the monthly and quarterly forecast with business unit managers.

  • LOB Reporting

  • Closely coordinate with Corporate Finance & Strategy, the CIOO and OTA senior leaders to maximize benefits to business units.

  • Transfer Pricing

  • Support OTA transfer pricing allocations including support the quarterly recertification process for OTA and analysis of the drivers of any changes in allocations by Legal Entity.

  • Work in partnership with the Transfer Pricing Group and act as SME within OTA Finance to ensure alignment with all Reg W requirements.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a four-year college degree in Accounting or Finance (or comparable work experience). 5 years of work expense performing financial analysis with Allocations experience including support of Technology allocations a plus.

  • Requires the ability to conduct complex financial analysis.

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).

  • Detail oriented with the potential to work efficiently and independently with little direct supervision.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to include listening, verbal and written skills.

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under time pressure and handle several tasks/projects at the same time.

  • Problem resolution skills with strong analytical skills, sound judgment and ability to work effectively with clients and technical staff.

  • Ability to work with all levels of management.

  • Strong understanding of month-end close
