Summary:

Our fast-growing phishing simulation and cyber awareness training program is in need of an “Information Security Technical Writer” to help manage the process of developing and deploying phishing simulation campaigns within the global enterprise, including helping to plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures, manuals and playbooks.

The successful candidate will have strong process management skills, be extremely organized, able to prioritize in a fast-paced, complicated environment. The candidate also should be able to document processes and create playbooks for use among stakeholders in the phishing simulation program.

Reporting position: The “Information Security Awareness Analyst – Training” reports to the Director of Cybersecurity Awareness and Training.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Promoting Cybersecurity Education

  • Create policy and process documentation related to information security training and education programs as needed.

  • Collaborate with information security technical experts as needed to augment or further develop information security training and education activities appropriate for Bank audiences.

  • Help manage multiple processes related to training and phishing simulations.

  • Document processes and create playbooks that can be used by others to replicate the process.

Qualifications

  • Some knowledge of information security/cybersecurity is highly desired.

  • Proven experience working in a technical writing position

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office, including O365 and MS Teams

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences

  • Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking

  • Demonstrates understanding and use of basic project management methodologies, including the ability to plan and help manage a complex, organization-wide program over the longer term.

  • Desire to learn and integrate new capabilities in digital technology, such as audio, video, social media, online communities, blogs, and other web-based technologies.

  • Resilience and flexibility to explore different paths to achieve an outcome and adjust quickly and efficiently to new circumstances and measured results.

  • Highly organized and able to multi-task and manage concurrent deadlines.

  • A high degree of independence, integrity and confidentiality.

  • Flexible; able to move strategy forward in a rapidly changing environment.

  • Constantly seeks opportunities to improve processes and end work products.

  • Can do, upbeat attitude a must.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; in a technical field is preferred, but not required
