Job Summary:

We are looking for an M365 Engineer with expertise in managing and supporting the Microsoft M365 suite, particularly Viva, Copilot, and other MS Teams and Office applications. The candidate will collaborate with the Workplace Engineering team to handle our AI & M365 platforms, ensuring their performance and integration. Responsibilities include deploying, migrating, training, and providing L3/L4 support for M365 solutions like Copilot, Viva Engage, Viva Learning, Loop, and more, as well as assisting other tech support teams.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily engineering tasks related to all Intune policies and controls within the M365 product suite.

  • Provide consultation and guidance to other Engineering teams during policy changes, enhancements, and project-related activities.

  • Ensure users or endpoints have proper configurations through automated reporting and alerts, schedule weekly reviews of staff reports and metrics, and devise action plans for non-compliant devices.

  • Create and maintain documentation for responsible technologies including diagrams, SOPs, TSS, runbooks, and end-user guides.

  • Maintain configuration and licensing compliance across all managed devices using automated exception reports.

  • Continuously document and review recommended best practices to facilitate continuous improvement.

  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements to enhance scalability, security, service delivery optimization, and automate manual processes.

  • Compile metrics from various sources to demonstrate correlated cost savings and increased user productivity due to AI and M365 tools and products.

  • Contribute to the design and support of current and future product development.

  • Maintain departmental documentation.

  • Research and recommend new enhancements or upgrades that improve UX, provide cost avoidance or savings, or introduce innovative features or functionality.

  • Develop customized training solutions and modules for staff based on use cases and business requirements related to AI and M365 products.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of engineering experience with the M365 product stack, including Copilot and licensing, and managing these products via Intune and Azure, with deep knowledge of configurations such as Conditional Access, MAM, app configuration, and protection policies.

  • Strong understanding of the M365 suite, cloud computing services, container technologies, and orchestration tools.

  • Expert in integrating M365 with MS Teams, including Viva Engage, Learning, Insights, Copilot, Loop, etc.

  • Proficient with infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell DSC, or Kubernetes.

  • Familiarity with AI tools and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras is a plus.

  • Knowledge of AI chatbots like Copilot, ChatGPT, Siri, Google AI, etc.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

  • Capable of performing well under pressure with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience preferred

The typical base pay range for this role is between $101K - $150K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
