M&A Analyst - Project Admin Specialist

Job Summary:

Responsible for coordination and management of assigned projects for the Bank’s M&A under the direction of the OTA Head of M&A Integration. Scope of projects may include (but not limited to) simplifying processes, providing general administrative support, reporting, project tracking, developing high-level presentations on various subjects, anticipating changing business needs, and coordinating compliance matters. Support for the team in preparing quality reports and materials for prospective buyers, and/or internal/executive audiences.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Performs complex administrative duties involving frequent exercise of independent judgment, initiative, and diplomacy.

  • Understands the department’s priorities to help with communicating with other teams and triage incoming meeting requests and sequencing on behalf of the executive, with ability to know when to make the judgement call and when to be advised by the executives.

  • Function as the primary point of contact for the OTA M&A Integration team to those seeking assistance.

  • Take ownership of key deliverables and delivery with minimal oversight and without follow up.

  • Partnering with leadership across the Bank to manage projects or processes (e.g., presentations, events, team / web repository, communications) to ensure OTA’s contribution is complete and delivered in a timely manner.

  • Assists with the coordination of project or program implementation and rollout.

  • Researches issues, prepares reports and provides recommendations to manager.

  • Prepares /summarizes information from raw data using spreadsheets or other software.

  • Requires the ability to create mathematical computations in spreadsheets and convert to presentation level materials.

  • Requires the ability to describe business problems and their solutions to management.

  • Assumes ownership of key reference data, updating as required to ensure it remains current.

  • Makes recommendations to management for improvements to various projects, tasks and objectives.

  • Participates as a key player on other projects and represents the business unit in multi-division projects.

  • Assists in reviewing long-range business plan proposals based on current and anticipated business needs, as well as with general administrative duties including general correspondence, travel planning, and arrangement of meetings/events/facilities.

  • Processes and coordinates department accounts payables and expense vouchers.


  • Typically requires 4 years of demonstrated knowledge in project coordination experience.

  • Requires advanced communication skill level for written and oral presentations, planning, negotiation, reports construction with knowledge of internal policies and presentations.

  • Ability to creatively and effectively convey ideas through verbal and written communications.

  • Excellent organization and people skills.

  • Ability to prioritize own work; managing expectations and delivering in a timely manner.

  • Strong Microsoft office suite skills, Confluence and Jira a plus.
