We're seeking a Mortgage Consultant Associate to support one or more Mortgage Consultants. You will perform various clerical, technical, and sales support functions. In addition, you are responsible for collecting data from the borrower to complete an application for processing.
Review application prepared by Mortgage Consultant for completeness.
Input application into LoanSoft system to start the application process.
Pull credit reports and review for program guidelines.
Check pricing for accuracy and lock loan if borrower requests.
Review file for credit program guidelines.
Interface loan application to mainframe system and submit a complete hard copy loan file to Centralized Loan Processing Center (CLPC) within the required time frame.
Contact borrowers for missing documentation or other information needed for underwriting.
Assist Mortgage Consultant with obtaining, organizing, and submitting underwriting conditions.
Monitor important dates (eg: escrow dates, contingency dates) for loan pipeline to ensure customer satisfaction
Coordinate with the underwriter and processor on the particulars of the file and ensure timelines are met.
The right candidate will have:
2 years clerical experience within the real estate industry, in residential real estate, escrow, or real estate office administration
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Power Point
Strong administrative, organization, and communications skills
This position may be subject to SAFE Act Registration Requirements.
