Job Summary:

As a Mortgage Direct Consultant, you are responsible for originating mortgage loans within the Loan Advisory Center. Do you have a dynamic phone presence? You will apply a consultative selling approach while completing loan interviews over the phone with bank clients, referral leads and prospects. This will ensure success in matching Union Bank's mortgage products to the individual needs of our clients every single day. Responsible for completing comprehensive loan application packages and submitting them to your processing partner. This role will respond to inbound calls generated by marketing, advertising and other sources to sell and originate mortgage loans. Responsible for making outbound sales calls for retention and acquisition purposes. Nurture and cultivate referral relationships with your Bank branch partners that will positively impact loan production. Does this describe you? Let's partner together.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Consultative selling of mortgage loan products including figuring out needs and matching product benefits, taking applications and gaining referral business.

  • Complete and submit, high-quality comprehensive loan packages to processing and handle pipeline.

  • Activities include proper and timely completion of required disclosures, collecting appropriate fees and customer follow-up for conditions and status.

  • Ensure compliance with all bank and regulatory requirements and guidelines including Fair Lending and Community Reinvestment Act objectives.

  • Meetings, training and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Do you possess 2-3 years of documented ability to meet or exceed sales goals?

  • Sales expertise within mortgage lending.

  • Your experience working in a call center will be significant to your success.

  • Your strong interpersonal and time management skills will assist you in this dynamic environment.

  • Are you a self-starter with a strong dream to achieve individual and team goals?

This position is subject to SAFE Act Registration Requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements, all applicants for employment who will be engaged in residential loan mortgage originations (as defined by the SAFE Act) must register with the federal registry system and maintain a status in good standing under the SAFE Act requirements.
