The Regulatory Reporting Analyst reports to the Regulatory Reporting Director (Reporting Shared Service) and is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation and filing of various financial regulatory reports in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, Company policies and procedures, and generally accepted accounting principles.
Preparation of Regulatory Reports - ensure the accurate and timely preparation and filing of various financial regulatory reports for the Bank and Intermediate Holding Company in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, Company policies and procedures, and generally accepted accounting principles.
Participate in the research and implementation of new and revised regulatory reporting requirements, as well as the evaluation of regulatory requirements for new products/transactions.
Ad hoc projects including streamlining efforts and reporting, as requested
It is expected that this analyst will work on the following Call Report Schedules, although this is subject to change:
RC Balance Sheet
RC-S Servicing, Securitization & Asset Sale Activities
RI-A Changes in Bank Equity Capital
They will also work on the FR Y-9C equivalent schedules for the holding company.
Accounting or finance degree or equivalent work experience is required.
Minimum 5 years related experience. Public accounting experience is strongly preferred.
Strong, current understanding of banking regulatory reporting rules and regulations is desirable, but not required.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment to meet tight filing deadlines, maintaining neat, easy-to-follow workpapers with a clear audit trail.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of banking and financial services industry preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft suite of products - Excel, Word and PowerPoint
