Job Summary:

In this role you will focus on developing, implementing, and managing processes and tools to track and report on all activities associated with Operations & Technology for the Americas (OTA) and our foreign and domestic regulatory agencies. You will support processes that include regulatory exam management, calendar management, document management, senior level management reporting, and metrics. Throughout these activities you will partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, project managers and team members across OTA. Your primary focus will be to support efficient and practical processes with effective controls to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency. You will ensure that all processes are effectively documented and, where appropriate, you will design and implement supporting communication and training materials. You will prepare reporting for senior leadership on the status of regulatory remediation, including escalation of remediation risks and issues as needed.

  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of a centralized OTA regulatory document repository

  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of bi-weekly status and metrics reporting for all OTA regulatory remediation initiatives suitable for senior management and Board presentations

  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of tools for tracking critical information related to regulatory activities

  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of a processes to ensure data accuracy

Qualifications:

  • Degree in computer science or related field, or in business or finance with coursework or working experience in areas of risk and/or data analytics, information systems, technology management, or equivalent preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience in a risk & control or audit function

  • Experience in a financial institution, "Big 4" accounting firm, or other highly regulated environment

  • Experience with risk metrics definition and reporting/scorecard development utilizing key risk metrics tools (IBM Open Pages, Tableau, structured query language (SQL), Access etc.)

  • Advanced proficiency with Jira and Confluence

  • Risk management experience including evaluating the adequacy and efficiency of internal controls, and identifying issues

  • Experience with enforcement agencies' oversight activities (regulatory examinations, matters requiring attention (MRAs), consent orders, etc.)

  • Understanding of financial institution businesses, processes, products, and risk

  • Experience producing high quality reports suitable for senior management and Board level consumers

  • Experience with processes necessary to produce accurate periodic reporting (e.g., data reconciliations, data governance, review, and approval, etc.)

  • Advanced level of proficiency using Microsoft Excel to capture, organize, and analyze data, produce management reporting and dashboards, and prototype strategic solutions is critical

  • Advanced level of proficiency using Microsoft collaboration and project management tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and Project

  • Experience developing and communicating key messages to senior managers and regulators

  • Outstanding communication skills; able to foster close and collaborative productive working relationships across the organization

  • Ability to work effectively in team environment, and influence across all interpersonal levels, where flexibility, collaboration, adaptability, challenge, and influence are important

  • Strong planning and organizing skills and the ability to multitask across a varied workload

  • Strong work ethic, ability to make decisions and work under tight deadlines; achievement-oriented and takes initiative

  • Ambitious and hardworking
