The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Performing investment banking and transaction banking application design and development using latest technologies. Determining how existing applications, legacy systems, databases, Web interfaces, and/or hardware logic, which may be currently operating on multiple platforms, work together to meet the new and emerging enterprise requirements. Performing complex application design and programming activities in the latest techniques: Scala, Java, Node, REST, microservices, AWS/Cloud infrastructure, Spark, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins. Building commercial/corporate cards, supply chain finance, and trade finance applications; using Java, Spring and REACT. Managing and leading technology teams in Agile and Waterfall environment. Driving Application and Solution Architecture. Developing application stack (front-end, UI, middleware services and back end/databases). Leading software development teams and guiding teams on application architecture and standards. Leading enterprise vulnerability and End of Life/End of Service Program. Addressing application vulnerabilities. Designing application and solution architecture with Java and Java frameworks. Implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs. Utilizing application, data, and infrastructure architecture principles and applying these principle to support applications and service customers. Utilizing commercial banking products including PrimeRevenue, GTNexus, LiquidX, GSCF (Global Supply Chain Finance), TSYS, MasterCard and CGI (Trade 360). Providing technical leadership in terms of architecting applications, mentoring developers, and making technology decisions in alignment with enterprise technology strategy. Creating needed documents for project execution. Providing ongoing communication to internal stakeholders throughout the process to keep them apprised of progress and findings, escalating when appropriate. Providing project management support in tracking and coordinating the execution of policy and standards control testing activities. Supervising a team of Software Developers (approximately 10-12 people).

Qualifications – External

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree).

Experience: 6 years of application development experience building commercial/corporate cards, supply chain finance, and trade finance applications; using Java, Spring and REACT; managing and leading technology teams in Agile and Waterfall environment; driving Application and Solution Architecture; developing application stack (front-end, UI, middleware services and back end/databases); leading software development teams and guiding teams on application architecture and standards; leading enterprise vulnerability and End of Life/End of Service Program; addressing application vulnerabilities; application and solution architecture with Java and Java frameworks; implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs; utilizing application, data, and infrastructure architecture principles and applying these principle to support applications and service customers; and utilizing commercial banking products including PrimeRevenue, GTNexus, LiquidX, GSCF (Global Supply Chain Finance), TSYS, MasterCard and CGI (Trade 360).

Certification: Position requires Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification

Travel: Position requires domestic travel to NJ/NY 5% of time.

Other: Required to work nights and weekends as required, and be On-call during non-business hours for technical teams & product support purposes

Other: Position requires employment in-office 4 days per week and remotely 1 day per week.

Wage: $143,416 to $182,000 U.S. dollars per year
