Reporting to the Vice President of Mortgage Originations System Support, the System Support Analyst will provide phone, email and ticket-based support to internal users and external customers for the Bank’s Mortgage Loan Origination System. Duties include conducting root-cause analysis, proposing system solutions to configuration analysts, managing incident tickets, authoring system alert notifications to large audiences, system testing, identifying system workarounds, and other tasks to proactivity maintain a high-reliability environment and minimize recovery time for critical production incidents.
Provide system application support to internal and external clients
Performs system analysis on application functionality and suggests improvements
Establish root cause of system issues, and knows when to escalate
Log, monitor and complete Incident or Change Management tickets
Performs security provisioning/deprovisioning, and other security functions
Maintain or create Enterprise Information Security required documentation
Conduct system walk-throughs with various audiences including auditors
Performs BETA testing and/or User Acceptance testing
Listens to client to understand their needs and priorities
Train and support clients in the use of the solution
Document team system procedures and publish
Author system alert notifications and system workarounds to large audience
Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in troubleshooting system production issues, business system analysis, information security, help desk support, customer service or equivalent work experience.
Experience in Mortgage Originations, Banking or Financial Services preferred.
Experience with SQL and other data profiling tools and techniques preferred.
Experience with Word Processing and worksheet tools.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Experience providing front-end support to internal departments or web-based clients
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Priority setting, problem solving, negotiating, and conflict management skills
Functional, technical, and operational organization skills required, including the ability to develop strong alliances with our internal and external customers.
Sound decision making skills that demonstrate originality, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
Action oriented; Ability to adapt to change and implement quickly based on overall direction and needs of the line of the business.
Ability to work independently or within a team for problem resolution
