Job Summary

As a Technology Project Manager at MUFG, you will focus on implementing processes to ensure the achievement of technology project objectives, exclusively within the software development life cycle. Responsibilities include creating project and resource plans that align with budget allocation and program milestones; documenting and driving underlying tasks and assignments to complete project deliverables on schedule; closing a project, including budget reconciliation; and, for technical projects following a waterfall or other methodologies (as needed), coordinating development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Hands on technology project management and documentations to support Technology programs

  • Drive planning at the various organizational levels to ensure projects are on track/resourced

  • Establish project / program governance and communication with stakeholders

  • Ensure timetable and deliverable schedules are understood and communicated

  • Proactively manage dependencies, coordinate across teams to resolve issues and mitigate risks

  • Contribute to executive level updates on strategy, budget, project delivery, controls, risks, etc.

  • Organize required reporting for business and technology management review sessions

  • Track financials related to Technology expenditures including software, hardware and resource allocation

Qualifications

Qualifications :

  • B.A. or B.S required, PMP preferred

  • 5-6 years experience managing SDLC projects

  • Experience within a technology organization in the financial services industry is preferred

  • Experience tracking projects and tasks through Jira/Confluence

  • Must be hands on with project documentations on planning, test approach, RAID log and proactive in closing open items.

  • Understanding of MSP ticketing and Alert Management Systems.

  • Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals and the software development life cycle.
