Major Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for effective operations within the organization.

  • Develops and implements operating policies and procedures across functions such as: customer service, quality control standards, purchasing, inventory control, materials management, distribution and facilities maintenance and planning.

  • Conducts and reviews feasibility of new or revised systems and procedures.

  • Manages the internal audit process to ensure compliance with organizational standards.

  • Incumbents at this level may manage a department, product or process with a large amount of independence.

  • Typically referred to as technical expert and known internally and externally as reliable, knowledgeable resource.

  • Develops and exercises business plans, policies and procedures and may also be responsible for various projects to improve efficiencies.

  • Individual at this level has a clear understanding of the firm's different businesses and the related economics.

  • Responsible for following established guidelines and identifying and resolving problems.

  • Individual at this level is expected to use some independence of thought but to refer more complex problems to supervisors or other experts.

  • Individual would be expected to contribute to work flow or process change and redesign, and to form a strong basic understanding of the specific product or process.

  • May also be accountable for regular reporting or process administration as owner.
