Job Summary:
This role is in MUFG America’s HR Technology team; In this role you will serve as a bridge between Technology teams and HR business teams. You will focus on analyzing, documenting, and validating business needs in relation to system functionality. You will be able to translate those requirements into design, collaborate with business, global cross-functional and technical teams for development and implementation. You will have good experience of HR business processes, such as- Recruitment, Compensation, Performance Management, Benefits, Absence, and Payroll. You have worked on implementations, support, and enhancements of Workday HCM or similar enterprise HR product. You have some experience in Workday, Integrations, Reports, Functional Analysis, Development, Test, and Deployment.
In this role you will also lead Technology governance processes for the team to ensure design, development and implementation of applications programs and services meet Business needs as well as comply with organization’s information security, risk, change management and other Policy/Standards requirements. You’ll ensure process maps and documentation for HR Technology portfolio remain current, and that process changes are effectively led from a control perspective.
Major Responsibilities:
Interface between HR Business teams, various InfoSec, Risk, IT teams and HR Technology teams in the analysis, design, and delivery of HR solutions to meet needs of our HR business partners globally.
Lead and manage interface with other technology, Information Security and Architecture teams to ensure systems and projects comply with prevailing Policies and Standards.
Lead Agile product development for MUFG Americas Workday Integrations, lead all the facets of development journey.
Creating project and resource plans that align with budget allocation and program milestones; documenting and driving underlying tasks and assignments to complete project deliverables on schedule.
Communicate Business requirements in functional specifications to the development team; manage design, development, and implementation of the solution.
Participate in quality control and ensure compliance with Testing strategy and product quality requirements.
Be an SME in Change/Release Management processes, MUFG project management framework and influence team to ensure compliance with these.
Support System Manager in addressing, Issues, findings and breaks associated with supported HCM applications.
Prepare activity and status reports for management for all project activities; aids in the preparation of cost / benefit analysis report, audit responses, special project reports and project implementation reports.
Document, own and ensure sustainability of design documents, Architectural diagrams, process flows and other system/support documentations.
Ensure compliance with Information Security, Change/Release Management, testing and migration standards. Contributes to and adheres to various MUFG Technology policies and standards as they apply to HCM applications.
Train and support Business, other colleagues in the use of the solution
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience
Minimum of 5-6 years' experience in IT, Software Engineering as HRIS/Workday/HCM or Technology Systems Analyst.
Minimum 3 years supporting HCM Technology, preferably Workday HCM, as a hands-on analyst.
Background in managing CyberSecurity, Information risk, regulatory compliance and other governance processes for HCM applications and process is highly desirable.
Experience with HR business processes, such as- core HCM, Recruitment, Compensation, Performance Management, Benefits, Absence, Payroll Security, and Reporting
Following Workday skills are preferred: Workday Integrations, Reports, BIRT, Workday Studio, Calculated Fields, EIB, CCB, XSLT, Cloud Connect, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, SOAP and REST Web Services, WSDL, RaaS, Business Processes, Security.
Experience with Office 365, project management and collaboration tools.
Data analysis and reporting as it applies to day-to-day Project/Business analysis, such as – SQL, common reporting tools, Excel and other data profiling tools and techniques.
Experience working closely with business teams to understand requirements and design creative solutions to meet business needs
Experience working in a process oriented, systematic project management environment.
Experience in creating test plans and test cases and verify test results against requirements.
Experience with Agile and waterfall project/product management frameworks
Proficient in using JIRA, Confluence or similar tools
Nice to have: experience creating end to end Workday Inbound and Outbound Integrations, experience creating and modifying Workday Studio integrations, XSLT (Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations)
Experience creating, modifying Workday Reports, Calculated Fields, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), CCB (Cloud Connect for Benefits).
Working knowledge of Workday Business Processes, Security and Integration Security.
Identity & Access management process skills in context of HCM systems.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $100K - $120K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
