Responsible for the daily operations of the Windows Servers, VMware and VDI Platform.
Job Responsibilities
Work in partnership with various departments and the regional office to collaborate and support on implementation of local and regional projects at a branch level
Manage the Red Hat Linux, Windows, Citrix and VMware support to deliver a robust and stable operational platform
Provide technical advice on complex issues relating to specific product sets, including SQL, IBM DB2, IBM WebSphere, various types of SAN Storage systems, Linux, VMware, Windows, etc.
Implement IT projects with close collaboration with stakeholders
Support the maintenance management process
Assist Team Lead to guide, support and train up junior colleagues
Ensure full compliance with the prevailing regulations and follow all internal controls
Support IT disaster recovery activities for the responsible IT infrastructure
Job Requirements
Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines
Minimum 5 years of IT infrastructure and servers management experience in banking environment
Demonstrate a clear logical approach to the resolution of incidents and problem investigation
Good technical understanding of desktop and application virtualization and Windows platform
Strong technical skills in Red Hat Linux, Windows, Citrix, VMware, SQL, and shell scripting
Strong technical understanding of various system administration skills, including installation, configuration, and management of OS (Linux, VMware and Windows), database (SQL & IBM DB2), and middleware (IBM WebSphere)
Strong technical skills and practical knowhow on HCI & SAN storage installation and configuration
Experience in banking systems as well as banking products and services will be an advantage
Experience in project implementation and reporting
Good organization skill and attention to details
Proficiency in written and spoken English
