Principal Responsibilities
International Credit Division (Hong Kong) (“ICDHK”) works closely with Wholesale Business Relationship Manager Teams (“RMs”) to support their business growth in a sustainable manner. ICDHK covers clients domiciled in Hong Kong and China.
The Vice President of ICDHK (“VP”) provides high quality, forward looking and professional Credit Analysis for Wholesale Banking to support lending decision-making of new and existing business relationship.
VP provides clear and considered Credit risk guidance to RMs and other key stakeholders as required.
VP understands and complies with all relevant rules, policies, guidelines and procedures for the responsibilities.
Closely engaging with RMs, VP assists with day to day risk management of existing clients and work with them as necessary.
VP ensures that all work is delivered within agreed timeframes.
VP communicates clearly with team members, RMs and other key stakeholders as required.
VP supports the team leader to deliver analytical projects / initiatives on a timely manner with good quality
Requirements
The candidate should have analytical background and risk management expertise
An undergraduate or post-graduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
At least 7 years of experience in credit risk management or analytics.
In-depth knowledge of wholesale lending Credit through working in financial services industry.
Have sound inter-personal skills and ability to work independently and closely with different stakeholders
Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English, proficient in credit writing in English, hard-working, organized, diligent, and above all a good team player.
