Job Responsibilities:

  • To support and promote trade finance business for Financial Institutions in East Asia Region, especially Hong Kong and Mainland China

  • To independently derive, drive and support trade finance promotion campaigns and sales initiatives

  • To understand client’s trade finance requirements and provide advice with comprehensive products and tailor made solutions. Develop client proposals and marketing materials to address client’s needs.

  • To build up and maintain trade finance deals pipeline

  • To work closely with relationship managers in FI team to identify target clients and map out transaction banking account strategies

  • To constantly develop partnership with relationship managers through demonstrating solid sales skillset and knowledge of trade finance products

  • To work closely with other internal members including HQ and cross region partners to analyze FI trade sales activities and come up with strategic approach, initiatives and contribute to overall transaction banking revenue growth.

Job Requirement:

  • Degree holder with 58 years of experience in banking industry, with minimum3 years focusing as sales role related to FI trade

  • Solid knowledge in FI trade finance products and also supply chain finance solution

  • Comprehensive credit skills is preferred

  • Capable in understanding client’s requirements and articulate solutions

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with RMs, Product Development team, and other Product Offices

  • Excellent command of both spoken and written Chinese and English, including Putonghua. Knowledge of Japanese will be an advantage
