Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for supporting the implementation of regional and local Human Resource (HR) initiatives as well as processes for the Business Units (“BUs”). HR initiatives include but not limited to attraction, selection, engagement and development, in order to align to the Bank’s direction/strategy. Also, responsible for providing sound HR advice to the BUs to support decision making on HR issues including but not limited to recruitment, employment relations, organizational change, talent management, performance management and reward.

  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both within the Bank and externally.

  • Work in partnership with various departments to support the implementation of regional HR policies and processes in the Branch to drive market relevant, cost effective and compliant practices.

  • Work in partnership with hiring managers to support the recruitment process for senior roles both within/outside Singapore.

  • Provide HR policy interpretation and guidance on local bank’s policies.

  • Support the business with performance and conduct issues.

  • Support the delivery of key annual HR processes including but not limited to compensation review, performance management, succession planning and engagement survey.

  • Support the preparation of market relevant salary proposals for senior hires.

  • Support in the development and implementation of change initiatives including but not limited to restructures, HR system upgrades and company cultural initiatives.

  • Support in developing and updating policies to ensure alignment with all relevant regulations.

  • Develop recommendations for continuous improvement and support implementation.

  • Support in managing the risk profile for the department.

  • Support internal and external audits within the department by preparing documentation as required.

  • Prepare reports including but not limited to headcount, talent movements, attrition rates, when required.

  • Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.

  • Adhere to all company policies as well as guidelines

  • Responsible in tracking confirmation and conducting/arranging exit interviews

  • Assist in on/off- boarding of international assignees

Job Requirements:

  • Degree qualified

  • At least 1 year of HR Generalist experience, candidates with no experience but with prior 1 to 2 HR internship experience is preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including good working knowledge of Pivot table, V-lookup, and basic formulas in excel

  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence others and sell HR solutions

  • Basic understanding of all HR disciplines including but not limited to Recruitment, Employment Relations, HR Generalist, Rewards, Organisational Development and Talent Management

  • Good knowledge of HR processes, practices and local employment laws
