Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting in the monitoring of the Branch’s credit portfolio and identifying potential credit exposures in order to mitigate credit risk.
Compute provision under SG GAAP
Work in partnership with the other departments in order to obtain information on appropriate assumptions in order to carry out stress testing and financial modelling.
Provide support to the monitoring of the Branch’s portfolio and submit identifications of credit risk or exposures to the Head of Department
Assist in the preparation of routine reports on the monitoring of the credit portfolio and present these at the Credit Committee.
Prepare necessary materials in order to conduct stress testing and assess borrower ratings' impact on the Branch’s portfolio and prepare materials to illustrate the outcome of testing.
Assist in the preparation of reports for the local regulators, including but not limited to, credit conditions, credit surveys and loan provisions.
Support internal and external audits within the department by preparing documentation as required
Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.
Adhere to all company policies as well as guidelines
Contact with the local regulator/ external audit and provide the report/ information on Credit Portfolio related matters upon their requests.
Job Requirements:
At least 3 years of Credit Risk Management / Credit Audit experience within financial services industry
Strong experience in credit portfolio reporting / management and Stress Test.
Familiarity with IFRS framework, MAS IWST and MAS credit related reports/surveys
Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with others.
Good analytical skills to interpret large and complex data sets and ability to identify implications of data sets.
Good communication and presentation skills with ability to influence others using complex data or analysis to support line of reasoning.
Good communication skills with ability to influence others and sell solutions.
