Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented member to join APAC Region’s Credit Risk Management Department. As a member of the Credit Policy and Control team, you will be responsible for assurance testing of credit related processes and functions, supporting the review and maintenance of regional credit policies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and APAC branches to drive and implement enhancements initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assurance Testing: Conduct assurance testing to ensure the adherence to established standards and good practices for credit related processes and functions, identify weaknesses and risks associated with these processes and functions, and provide suggestions for improvement to the management and internal stakeholders. Periodically review and enhance the assurance testing processes.

  • Credit Policies and Underwriting Guidelines: Regularly review, provide recommendations and implement enhancements to regional credit policies and guidelines. Review APAC branches’ credit policies and manuals to ensure the alignment with Head Office and regional’s credit rules and policies. Prepare policies and guidelines’ exception reports for senior managements.

  • Support APAC branches: on matters related to Head Office and regional’s credit rules and policies, and credit risk control standards and processes.

  • Regional Committees and Meetings: Organize, facilitate and prepare necessary materials for Credit Policy Management Team (CPMT) meetings. Support preparation of necessary materials for Credit Risk Management Committee (CRMC) for APAC region.

  • Team Tasks and Initiatives: Conduct and coordinate credit review process among other team tasks; and support team leader in team and departmental initiatives to drive the enhancement of credit risk management in APAC region.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate/commercial banking or auditing firm, including experience in quality control/assurance or audit.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Accounting or a related field.

  • Knowledge of credit policies and processes (end-to-end, including credit middle processes)

  • Good knowledge of the banking industry’s products and services and its regulations.

  • Good written and verbal communication skill, presentation skills and project management skills.
