Job Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the business units to handle the functional and non-functional requirements based on requirements

  • Control the integration requirements between different systems, highlighting any dependencies and impacts

  • Oversee the BAU aspects of the payment systems regionally focusing on maintaining stable operations.

  • Collaborate with the relevant teams including vendors to investigate reported issues/problem, identify root cause/impact, implement workaround and fixes to resolve issue

  • Oversee the outstanding defects/change requests, prioritize with business units and plan for the fix or implementation

  • Manage L3 production incident analysis, resolving, handle user queries and change requests

  • Play an advisory during incidents to look at service restoration and remediation activities to ensure all payments are recovered and processed within the stipulated SLA’s

  • Liaise with the different technology teams on the application and infrastructure side to ensure all interfaces to internal and external systems are functioning without disruption.

  • Oversee application upgrades, patches, vulnerabilities etc required to meet the technical standards in the organization.

  • Ensure the application testing is complete and adequate so as to avoid any impact to production post-implementation

  • Maintain up to date knowledge based or documents related to application features and processes (subject matter expertise)

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in Payment & Settlement systems with strong domain knowledge of Asia Pacific payment systems for domestic payments (e.g. RTGS, NEFT, ACH, CITAD, G3 Fast, Payroll etc.)

  • 8 -10 Years of experience with specialization on Payments systems support.

  • Sound knowledge of ISO20022 payment standard and SWIFT messages would be useful. Knowledge of cross-border payment would be an advantage.

  • Qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field

  • Experience with TCS Bancs Payments product would be an advantage

  • Familiar with project management fundamentals and change management processes in a production environment

  • Hands-on person who can look at the impact of issues for the payments in APAC region and drive recovery actions. This would require engagement after office-hours when there is any incident.

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills

  • Strong planning, organizational and time management skills

  • Self-motivated and possess drive, and ability to work independently and a good team player

  • Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and exposure to Agile methodology

  • Knowledge in Java/J2EE platform, Oracle DB, SQL, Unix/Linux, IBM WAS (would be a plus)
