Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare/ review and analyse MAS reporting (daily to yearly cycle)

  • Prepare/ review HO USGAAP reports on half year basis

  • Prepare/review handle MAS's queries on the reports

  • To assist the HOD in any ad-hoc projects as delegated

  • Backup for checkers and other makers in their absence

Customer

  • Work with more senior staff when dealing with complex issues, larger clients, accounts, projects, analyses, or internal relationships. Typically, the first position level with ongoing external contact

  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both within MUFG and externally

People

  • Individual contributor and mentor to more junior staff

  • Transactional relationships with peers in department and immediate supervisor, with some exposure to senior staff

Other/ Control

  • Zero error tolerance and timeliness on regulatory reporting and HO reporting

Job Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of MAS reporting experience in banking / financial institution

  • Experienced understanding of MAS Notices and guidelines

  • Ability to work independently and possess strong problem solving skills

  • Good communication and presentation skills with business lines and stakeholders

  • Has a basic understanding of the overall firm and the competitive environment
