Review MAS reports parameter mapping against notices & financial statement classification
Analyze impact of new/ revised MAS notices and new products
Sanity check on upstream departments' data accuracy for MAS reports' submission
To assist the HOD in any ad-hoc projects as delegated;
Backup for checkers and other makers in their absence;
Generally assigned small to mid-sized, less complex clients, prospects, territories, accounts, projects, or internal relationships
Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both within MUFG and externally.
Develops staff on specific projects and control deployment of resources
Tactical relationships with peers in department and immediate supervisor, with some exposure to senior staff;
- Zero error tolerance and timeliness on all Pre-check and Post-test review, change management and impact assessment of all the new and amendments MAS notices & new products/ GL/ PL codes
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in banking/ financial institution
Minimum 2 years of MAS Reporting experience
Advanced understanding of MAS Notices 610 and 649, Banking Act and business lines new products
Strong problem solving skills, good communication and presentation skills with business lines and stakeholders
Ability to work independently
