We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of IT Security Lead within Information Technology Department under Asian Systems Office.
The successful candidate will be part of a growing dynamic regional team that is in charge of IT development and support functions. The application is part of a critical regional initiative that’s in line with the banks safety and soundness roadmap.
You will be expected to play a key role in ensuring the bank and its customers are protected from internal and external risks pertaining to cyber threats, vulnerabilities, malware and related problems.
Collaborates with the risk governance department in the organization to maintain the systems and tools required to ensure cyber hygiene
Lead a team of consultants based off-shore to plan and implement the required security governance initiatives as per the regional technology roadmap.
Work with the application and infrastructure teams to look at implementing systems and processes to keep up with the threats that evolve in the industry
Keep abreast with the trends in the industry and look pro-actively engage with the risk governance team to keep the organization and its customers protected.
Implement solutions across the region for vulnerability testing, threat analysis and security checks
Partner with the risk governance department to drive implementation of the identify management solution regionally.
To give professional supervision and guidance to the security teams on the maintenance and functioning of the systems and tools deployed in the organization.
To update and upgrade the security systems as required
At least 10 to 12 years of IT work experiences in the area of risk management & cybersecurity in the financial services industry OR an organization that provides consulting services in the security domain.
Prior experience working as a cybersecurity specialist maintaining and rolling out security solutions is a must.
Needs to have a good understanding of risks and their implications in the banking industry pertaining to cyber-attacks, vulnerabilities, malicious code etc
Certifications in CISP, CISM, CEH, GIAC security essentials or similar disciplines would be required
Good understanding of the latest threats, procedures and facilities is essential
Familiarity with identity management solutions like OIM would be an advantage
Background in the financial industry in a similar regional role would be preferred
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
Strong planning, organizational and time management skills
Self-motivated, self-organizing and possess drive, ability to be hands-on and a good team player
Experience in liaising with off-shore teams, infrastructure teams and other personnel for implementation of solutions.
