About the role:

As the Associate, you’ll be responsible for the proper and effective management of booking transactions in Singapore as requested by other MUFG overseas branches and perform an active role to handle such loan or any other products requested. You’ll manage the entire loan process as part of the team, including KYC on boarding, documentation review, loan administration and operations, and will work closely with our overseas colleagues as well as internally to service clients’ needs.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders within MUFG, including those in overseas branches

  • Work in partnership with internal Legal team, Compliance team, operational teams to ensure documentation is in good order.

  • Work in partnership with offshore Relationship Managers (RMs) and internal KYC support teams and compliance team to ensure completeness of KYC satisfactorily

  • Work in partnership with offshore RMs and Product Offices, Credit Middle Office, and Back Office colleagues to understand the bank’s available products and the proper registration of such facilities for customers’ usage.

  • Liaise and collect appropriate documents from the relevant overseas branches for any exceptional handlings and arrange for necessary approvals in Singapore.

  • Manage and monitor the entire booking portfolio throughout the respective loan tenor.

  • Support division and department initiatives to drive process improvement and efficiency

What we are looking for:

  • Degree/diploma preferably in area of business, banking, or finance related subject

  • 2-5 years’ experience handling credit administrative, loan operations matters and/or documentation in a middle office banking environment

  • KYC experience or knowledge would be beneficial but is not essential

  • Able to use Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Good communication skill and a good team player
