Key responsibilities
Monitor daily ledger reconciliation and follow up any irregularities to related business units for rectification;
Responsible for daily accounting operations including bank reconciliation and voucher preparation;
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities;
Prepare daily and monthly financial reports in a timely and accurate manner;
Prepare Head Office reports and comply with the reporting standard requirements;
Assist in system implementation, preparation of user requirement and UAT;
Support internal and external audits within the Department by ensure proper filing and documentation as required; and
Support any ad hoc project/assignment.
Job requirements
At least 2 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting in banking industry;
Degree holder in Accounting or related disciplines;
Good understanding of financial accounting requirements;
Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Excel; and
Able to meet tight deadline, independent with minimum supervision, proactive and good analytical and communication skills
