About the Role

Job Profile

Purpose of Role

To ensure timely submission of financial reports submitted to our Head Office. Ensure accounting is done as per laid down accounting principles & guidance provided by regulators

Main Responsibilities:

Prepare & finalize J-GAAP & US GAAP financial statements and maintaining the bank’s compliance with regard to various banking, company and tax laws/acts. Support / review month end related closing activities. Prepare / Review assigned Management Accounting reports. Assess & support implementation of financial reporting related impact of new products introduced within the bank. Support automation related activities on an ongoing basis Monitor the guidelines by regulator and HO and implement the changes in the reporting To keep regular watch over Internal Accounts and review all the accounts as per defined timelines to meet H.O guidelines & local regulatory requirements Reconciliation of Nostro accounts & monitoring of internal accounts

Additional Responsibilities not limited to:

Support reporting to local regulators as required

Candidate Profile:

  • CA / MBA - Desirable to have at least 7/8+ years of relevant experience.

  • Sound technical understanding of financial accounting and ability to work independently in formulating and providing advice.

  • Sound project management skills to co-ordinate implementation of initiatives.

  • Sound communication and presentation skills to influence others using information to support line of reasoning.

  • Strong fluency with Excel , Word, Powerpoint

  • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal skills to deal courteously and effectively with others
