Job Profile
Position details
This position is for Seasoned experienced profession with experience of working in a bank with Technology department as techno-functional analyst. This position primarily takes care of application ownership across various banking domains to serve business units with efficient technology solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
For Small to Medium size projects
Business Requirements Documentation
Review requirements from Technical aspects
Discussions with vendors for FSD preparation
Liaison with vendor to neutralize the visible system impacts due to the change
Discussions with vendors for FSD finalization
Compilation of project documentation as per organization standards
Follow up with Vendor for timely release.
Project kick off meeting with BTG and vendor and project execution planning.
UAT execution
Error Tracking and Follow up with vendor for timely resolution of the errors.
Liaison with DBA/OS support team and other technical team for resolution of errors.
Attend Project review meeting
Liaison with vendor for movement of the enhancement to production.
Co-coordinating with CCB member for Approvals.
Preparation of application release process note for clean rollout
Post production support as per agreed SLA.
Follow up with different departments for sign off for project.
Post production review.
Document system functionalities to incorporate in the process notes
Backend scripting
Payments , fund utilization throughout the project as per schedule agreed in agreements with IT planning team
PO issuance with IT planning team
Payment clearance with IT planning team
Information Security group discussion and closures of queries raised
Review, discuss and signoff on understanding doc) / FSD (Functional specification document) provided by the Vendor.
Discuss requirement and functional specifications, assess functional & technical impact with user and vendor partners
Preparation of Project Plan and monitoring.
Support in planning rollouts, configuration and deployment of new versions of systems in terms of functionality.
Investigate and Analyze and provide workaround as interim measure and resolve application functionality related issues with vendor partner while providing first level support and troubleshooting
Provide training to user representatives for newly implemented functionalities.
Work on closure of security observations as per annual VA / PT cycle.
Guide internal development teams to build scalable and efficient solutions.
Look out automation opportunities and proposed solution for implementation with in-house development team.
Work with business to understand functional requirement and act as an SME for development / technology team.
Job Requirements:
We are looking for seasoned professional with below skill set to handle application owner activities as per responsibilities assigned by system department as a individual contributor.
MCA/ MBA/ BE/ MSc/B Tech or BSc IT/Graduation 8-12 years experience which could be a combination of
Technical domain understanding across BFSI systems
System functional knowledge, related banking/process knowledge and relate skills viz:
Analytical, Documentation, Communication
Good Exposure to one or more BFS domain areas e.g. ,Treasury, Corporate, Remittance, Payments, Advances, Document Management / Workflow, AML, transaction Banking etc. Performance Tests / Benchmarks, Integration with internal systems etc. related tasks. Having technical knowledge of Web technology (.net/MVC/IIS/JOBSS/Tomcat), Databases (Oracle/MSSQL), IBM MQ, windows Servers, etc. Hands on development experience at-least for few years on .net / SQL Technical Issues analysis skill, Identifying resolutions jointly with Application Vendor and/ or Infra Systems Vendors, Server / OS / Storage experts ,etc. Constantly identify initiatives to improve process efficiency and TAT’s. Vendor Co-ordination – Interact with Vendor on-site / Off-Site Delivery Teams for getting deliverables as per Project Timelines, tracking slippages, ensuring quality of deliverables and necessary escalations and arrive at remedial measures Good to have if exposed to
Reporting tools – MSBI/SSRS
Exposure to Automation and Monitoring tools
Awareness of Project Management methodologies, SDLC (Planning, Feasibility Study, Requirements Analysis, Technical Architecture & Design, Development, Testing – UT / SIT / UAT, Implementation, Support, Documentation), Process & Quality.
Soft Skill requirements
