The role incumbent is responsible for leading Credit Risk, Intergrated Risk and a part of Operational Risk in Hong Kong branch.

Job Responsibilities:

• Dual-hated with regional role, responsible for leading climate change (ESG related) risk oversight/management and activities in APAC region

• Develop and lead strategy of climate change (ESG related) risk oversight/management and activities and Credit risk, Integrated risk and the assigned area of Operational risk oversight/management and activities for HK branch, collaborating with relevant departments, and ensure alignment with the organization’s overall strategy and regulatory requirements of HK branch.

• Develop implementation plan and promote new development, enhancement, and integration of risk management frameworks and processes for climate change (ESG related) risk as center of excellence across the branches in APAC, collaborating with relevant divisions and head offices

• Develop and manage expense and investment budget plan in terms of cost efficiency, collaborating with the relevant budget and expense management team within the division

• Promote and increase the operational efficiency of processes and practices, especially for existing reporting, analysis and Business-As-Usual tasks

• Manage risk governance and risk controls for reginal & local Climate change (ESG related) risk areas and local Credit / Integrated / Operational risk areas

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in business administration, operational management and process re-engineering and related disciplines

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in sizeable organisation, preferably in banking and financial institution, specialised in climate change (ESG related) risk / Credit risk / Intergrated risk / Operational Risk

• Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments

• Strong coaching, mentoring, leadership and people management skills

• Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others

• Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English
